AK FlowBook part 2: what +55 on a candle means (delta)

What does +55 on a candle mean? 🤔

Delta = aggressive buys minus aggressive sells: who crossed the spread to get filled.
120 bought at the ask − 65 sold at the bid = +55.

How to read it:

• Price up + delta up: buyers pushed and price followed
• Price down + delta UP: buyers pushed and price still fell → someone sold passively into them (absorption)

Real example, Mon Sep 28: gold fell $82 while cumulative delta was +5,504.

Delta shows who was aggressive, not who was right. Use it at a level, not in the middle of nowhere.
