Oct 7 gold drop on AK FlowBook Full for TradingView
XAUUSD analysis today: gold fell about $58 in 31 minutes on Wed Oct 7. XAUUSD went from 4123 at 13:20 London to 4065 at 13:51. Here is what the AK FlowBook Full liquidity layer showed before and during the move, redrawn from gold futures data.
The map first: before the drop, three references sat within $5 of each other under price: the 15-minute MAJ L at 4109, the day's value area low at 4110 and the prior day low at 4105.
In the morning, lows near the day's value area low were taken twice. No strong 5-minute candle followed, so both chains failed and their labels were removed. Price kept drifting lower.
At 12:29 an LQ-S* printed on the 1-minute chart: a recent high was taken, the bar closed back below it with 4x the average volume, and structure already leaned down.
Price pushed up a little, then at 13:25 traded through the MAJ L, the value area low and the prior day low on 14x normal 5-minute volume. The low came at 13:51, near the day's VAL. By 15:18 price was back at 4104.
Some labels today were followed by a move, some were not. Labels describe where liquidity was taken. They do not predict. Read what price does at the level.
AK FlowBook for TradingView is built for traders without a full volume-trading setup: no powerful PC, no multi-monitor desk, no professional platform with a paid futures data feed. It brings futures-derived levels and order-flow context to the chart traders already use, on any broker's XAUUSD chart, even on a laptop or a phone. For exact order flow (real delta, big trades, icebergs, the order book order by order) there is AK FlowBook for NinjaTrader.
