Settings reference (AK FlowBook Full)

This page lists every setting of AK FlowBook Full in the order of the Settings window. Titles are written exactly as they appear. Group names are shown with a colon where TradingView shows a dash between the number and the name.

Important: Settings marked (preset) are replaced by the Market preset unless the preset is set to Manual. See Market presets.

Tip: After you change settings, recreate any alert you made earlier. TradingView alerts keep the settings they were created with.

00: Quick Start / Display

Setting	Default	What it does
`Market preset`	XAU/GC Intraday	Tunes seven sensitivity settings for the market. Options: Balanced, XAU/GC Intraday, Crypto Intraday, Forex Intraday, Manual.
`Display mode`	Clean	Clean, Analysis or Full. Controls band fill, PWH/PWL, PMH/PML, `Δ÷` labels and chunk bubbles. See Display and marker modes.
`Confirm on bar close`	On	Setup markers and several event markers are decided only when the bar closes.
`Limit setup markers to XAU/GC 5-minute`	On	Setup markers, setup alerts and several event markers (`LQ`, `SFP`, `Δ÷`, `EXH`, chunk bubbles, sweep alerts) appear only on XAUUSD/GC 5-minute charts. Levels always calculate.
`Decision dashboard`	On	Shows the dashboard.
`Show qualified setup markers`	On	Draws the `AK <score>` setup context markers.
`News blackout (UTC)` and its time field	On, 1200-1400	No new setup markers, setup alerts, sweep or SFP markers, FlowBook X or `LQ-B`/`LQ-S` labels inside this UTC window. Levels keep running.
`Fridays only`	On	Applies the news window on Fridays only (UTC).

The news window is a fixed clock window. It does not read an economic calendar.

00B: Right-Side Level Labels

Setting	Default	What it does
`Show level names on chart right`	On	Master switch for the right-side labels.
`Right offset (bars)`	4	Distance of the labels from the last bar.
`Include prices in labels`	On	Adds the price after each name.
`Use compact text`	On	Small text. Off uses normal size.
`Current D/W/M VWAP`	On	Labels `D VWAP`, `W VWAP`, `M VWAP`.
`Band 1 levels`	On	Labels band 1 upper and lower (`D VWAP U1` and so on).
`Previous D/W/M VWAP`	On	Labels `PRE D VWAP`, `PRE W VWAP`, `PRE M VWAP`.
`Prior D/W/M high-low`	On	Labels `PDH`, `PDL` (and `PWH`/`PWL`, `PMH`/`PML` where the display mode shows them).

01: Auction Map (D/W/M)

Setting	Default	What it does
`Daily VWAP / bands`	On	Daily VWAP and bands.
`Weekly`	On	Weekly VWAP and bands.
`Monthly`	On	Monthly VWAP and bands.
`Show band 2`	On	2σ bands for each period that is on.
`Previous D/W/M VWAP line`	On	Previous period's final VWAP as a step line.
`Prior D/W/M high-low`	On	Prior day, week and month high and low (subject to display mode).
`Band 1 sigma`	1.0	Band 1 distance in standard deviations.
`Band 2 sigma`	2.0	Band 2 distance in standard deviations.
`Edge tolerance (ATR)`	0.18 (preset)	How close price must come to a level to count as touching it (setup engine and `D~` location filter).
`Level cluster distance (ATR)`	0.28 (preset)	How close levels must be to count as a cluster in the setup score.
`First-return arm distance (ATR)`	0.80	How far price must travel from the daily and weekly band 1 before the next level touch counts as a first return.

02: Structure & Liquidity

Setting	Default	What it does
`Confirmed pivot length`	5 (preset)	Bars on each side that confirm a swing.
`Liquidity sweep engine`	On	Detects sweeps (feeds `LQ`, sweep alerts and the setup engine).
`Show sweep markers`	On	Allows `LQ` markers (also needs `LQ Liquidity sweeps`).
`Sweep lookback`	20 (preset)	Bars back for the prior high or low a sweep must take.
`Sweep minimum volume Z (quality)`	0.80	Volume a quality sweep needs. Also affects setup detection.
`Sweep minimum wick (ATR, quality)`	0.12	Wick a quality sweep needs.
`Sweep reclaim depth`	0.25	How far back the close must reach, as a share of the penetration.
`Sweep marker spacing`	6	Minimum bars between `LQ` markers on one side.
`Enable FVG context`	On	Tracks fair-value gaps.
`Show FVG zones`	Off	Draws FVG boxes.
`Minimum FVG (ATR)`	0.12	Smallest gap that counts.
`Enable structure order blocks`	On	Tracks order blocks.
`Show order-block zones`	Off	Draws OB boxes.
`OB source search`	12	Bars searched for the order-block candle.
`Zone maximum life (bars)`	250	Age after which an FVG or OB is retired.

03: Volume / Order-Flow Proxies

Setting	Default	What it does
`Show proxy events`	On	Allows the `D~`, `BV~`, `A~` and `CVD~` markers.
`Use proxy flow in setup qualification`	On	Lets flow count toward the Standard confirmation mode.
`Proxy normalization length`	50	Bars used to judge what is unusual for delta and volume.
`Delta proxy Z threshold`	1.35 (preset)	How unusual the delta estimate must be to count as a delta event.
`D~ display minimum absolute Z`	2.10	Display threshold for `D~`. The `min` Z field in group 14 also applies; the higher wins.
`D~ marker spacing`	5	Minimum bars between `D~` markers on one side.
`D~ display near location only`	On	Draws `D~` only when price is at a tracked level or zone.
`Big-volume proxy Z threshold`	2.0 (preset)	How unusual bar volume must be for `BV~`.
`Absorption volume Z`	1.4	Volume `A~` needs.
`Max body/range`	0.30	Largest body, as a share of the bar range, that `A~` accepts.
`CVD proxy divergence`	On	Detects `CVD~` divergences.
`CVD divergence pivot`	5	Swing length for `CVD~` and `Δ÷`. The marker appears this many bars after the swing.
`Show SFP events`	On	Allows `SFP` labels (also needs `SFP swing failure`).
`SFP minimum wick (ATR)`	0.20	Wick an SFP needs.
`SFP minimum volume Z`	0.70	Volume an SFP needs.

04: Context Engine

Setting	Default	What it does
`Trend timeframe`	15	Timeframe of the HTF trend.
`HTF EMA length`	50	EMA length for the HTF trend and MTF arrows.
`Regime length`	14	ADX length for the dashboard regime text.
`Trend regime threshold`	22.0	ADX level for Trend versus Balance (dashboard text only).
`Use session filter`	Off	Limits setup markers to the two sessions below.
`Session 1`	0700-1100	First allowed window, in the symbol's exchange time.
`Session 2`	1330-1700	Second allowed window, in the symbol's exchange time.

04B: Ichimoku Context

Setting	Default	What it does
`Enable Ichimoku context`	On	Calculates cloud context for the dashboard and score.
`Show Ichimoku lines / cloud`	Off	Draws Tenkan, Kijun, Span A, Span B and the cloud.
`Show TK cross markers`	On	Allows `TK+`/`TK−` labels (also needs `TK± Ichimoku crosses`).
`Conversion length`	9	Tenkan length.
`Base length`	26	Kijun length.
`Span B length`	52	Span B length.
`Displacement`	26	Cloud displacement.
`Use Ichimoku in context score`	On	Lets the cloud add to or subtract from the setup score.

05: Setup Context

Setting	Default	What it does
`Enable setup engine`	On	Runs the setup engine.
`Confirmation mode`	Standard	Fast, Standard or Strict. See Setup context.
`Minimum decision score`	68 (preset)	Lowest accepted score.
`Minimum independent layers`	3	Lowest accepted layer count.
`Require rejection / reclaim`	On	Needs a rejection candle, reclaim, sweep or swing failure.
`Same-side marker spacing`	3	Minimum bars between markers on one side.
`Setup confirmation window (bars)`	8	Bars allowed between arming and reaction.
`Minimum spacing between all setups`	5	Minimum bars between any two markers.
`Block duplicate setups on consumed edge`	On	One marker per visit to a level. A different level can still fire.
`Maximum setups per edge visit`	1	Markers allowed per level visit (1 to 3).
`Edge re-arm distance (ATR)`	0.65	Distance price must travel before a used level can fire again.
`Allow immediate setup at a different edge`	On	Lets a genuinely new level fire without waiting.

06: 3-Drive PRZ

Setting	Default	What it does
`Enable 3-Drive detector`	On	Looks for 3-Drive patterns.
`Show 3-Drive PRZ markers`	On	Allows `3D PRZ` labels (hidden in Elite mode).
`Pivot length`	3	Swing length for the detector.
`Leg symmetry tolerance`	0.18	How different the drive sizes may be.
`Time symmetry tolerance`	0.45	How different the drive durations may be.
`PRZ half-width (ATR)`	0.25	Half-height of the zone.
`PRZ max age (bars)`	60	After this, a PRZ no longer arms setups or adds score.

06B: Qualified Setup Families

Setting	Default	What it does
VSR family switch (title begins with `VSR`)	On	Sweep or swing failure at a level.
MIT family switch (title begins with `MIT`)	On	Inside an FVG, order block, imbalance zone or breaker.
3DP family switch (title begins with `3DP`)	On	At a 3-Drive PRZ.
FRR family switch (title begins with `FRR`)	On	First return to a level.
`VSR minimum score`	68	Minimum score for VSR.
`MIT minimum score`	74	Minimum score for MIT.
`3DP minimum score`	82	Minimum score for 3DP.
`FRR minimum score`	70	Minimum score for FRR.

07: Alerts (plot-safe)

Setting	Default	What it does
`Enable unified runtime alerts`	On	Master switch for every alert of the indicator.
`Qualified setup decisions`	On	Setup context alerts.
`Liquidity sweeps`	Off	Sweep alerts.
`3-Drive PRZ`	Off	3-Drive alerts.
`Ichimoku TK crosses`	Off	TK cross alerts.
`Trigger alerts only on bar close`	On	Sends alerts once per bar at the close. Off allows alerts during the bar.

08: Intrabar Volume-Flow Proxy

Setting	Default	What it does
`Intrabar timeframe`	Auto	Auto picks the intrabar timeframe from the chart timeframe (1 minute on charts up to 1 hour). Manual uses the next setting.
`Manual intrabar TF`	1	Intrabar timeframe in Manual mode. Seconds timeframes need a TradingView Premium plan.
`Footprint bin size`	Auto (ATR)	How price rows are sized: Auto (ATR) or Manual ticks.
`Manual ticks per bin`	4	Row height in ticks (Manual ticks).
`Auto bin size (ATR fraction)`	0.08	Row height as a fraction of ATR (Auto).
`CVD anchor (dashboard)`	Session	Session resets the dashboard CVD each trading day; Continuous never resets.

08B: Large Intrabar Volume Chunks (~)

Setting	Default	What it does
`Show large-volume chunk bubbles`	On	Detects large 1-minute volume chunks (bubbles hidden in Clean).
`Max bubbles per bar`	3	Maximum bubbles per chart bar.

08C: Imbalance / Exhaustion (~)

Setting	Default	What it does
`Detect stacked imbalance zones`	On	Finds stacked imbalance zones.
`Draw imbalance zone boxes`	Off	Shows the zones as teal or maroon boxes. Detection runs either way.
`Imbalance ratio (up:down volume)`	3.0	Ratio one side needs in a row. Also sets the footprint panel arrows.
`Stacked bins required`	3	Neighboring rows needed for a zone.
`Min bin volume (% of bar)`	4.0	Smallest share of bar volume a row needs to count.
`Zone max life (bars)`	200	Age after which a zone is retired.
`Max active zones`	10	Maximum zones kept.
`Absorption edge volume %`	30.0	Share of bar volume that must sit at one end of the bar for `A~`.
`Show exhaustion markers`	On	Allows `EXH` labels (also needs `EXH exhaustion`).
`Exhaustion breakout lookback`	12	Bars back for the new high or low `EXH` checks.

09: Volume Profile

Setting	Default	What it does
`Show session volume profile`	On	Draws the right-edge developing profile levels and prior levels (calendar D/W/M periods).
`Histogram rows (volume bars)`	Off	Draws the volume histogram.
`Rendered profile period`	Day	Which profile is drawn at the right edge. All three are calculated.
`Show D/W/M POC-VAH-VAL registry`	On	Draws the nine D/W/M POC, VAH and VAL lines and labels.
`Max profile rows`	36	Maximum histogram rows.
`Value area %`	70.0	Share of volume in the value area.
`Profile width (bars)`	22	Width of the right-edge profile.
`Profile right offset (bars)`	8	Gap between the last bar and the profile.
`Show prior POC / VAH / VAL lines`	On	Draws `pPOC` and the prior VAH and VAL.
`Use POC / VA edges in setup engine`	On	VAL, VAH and the prior POC count as levels for the setup engine and the `D~` filter.

10: Footprint Panel

Setting	Default	What it does
`Show developing-bar footprint panel`	On	Shows the panel.
`Panel rows`	12	Maximum rows (6 to 20).
`Panel position`	Right	Middle right or middle left.

11: Naked Levels & Delta Divergence

Setting	Default	What it does
`Track naked (untested) levels`	On	Stores and draws naked levels.
`Include naked VAH / VAL`	On	Adds `nVAH` and `nVAL`.
`Include naked prior VWAP closes`	On	Adds `nVWAP`.
`Max naked levels kept`	18	Maximum stored levels.
`Naked level max life (bars)`	1500	Age after which a level is removed.
`Show naked level labels`	On	Shows the level names.
`Use naked levels in setup engine`	On	Naked levels count as levels for the setup engine.
`Directional-volume proxy divergence`	On	Detects `Δ÷` divergences.
`Swing delta length (bars)`	8	Bars of delta summed for `Δ÷`.
`Alert: naked level touched`	Off	Context alert when a naked level is touched.

12: Marker Quality (Elite mode)

Setting	Default	What it does
`Marker mode`	Elite	Elite hides diagnostic markers and shows only top-tier setup markers. Normal and All show the markers switched on in group 14 (both behave the same).
`A+ minimum score`	85	Score needed for tier A+.
`A+ minimum layers`	5	Layers needed for tier A+.
`Elite also shows tier-A setups`	Off	Adds tier A in Elite mode.
`Elite filter also applies to setup alerts`	On	Setup alerts only for tiers you can see.

14: Event Markers (per-event on/off)

There is no group 13.

Setting	Default	What it does
`AK Setup markers (Long / Short setup)`	On	Display switch for the `AK <score>` markers. Detection and alerts keep working when hidden.
`Show enabled events in Elite mode too`	Off	On: the switches below decide, even in Elite mode.
`Δ Delta marker (D~)`	On	`D~` markers.
`▪ Big volume (BV~)`	On	`BV~` markers.
`◆ Absorption (A~)`	On	`A~` markers.
`CVD~ divergence`	On	`CVD~` markers.
`Δ÷ directional-volume divergence`	On	`Δ÷` labels (hidden in Clean).
`● Large intrabar-volume chunks`	On	Chunk bubbles (hidden in Clean).
`× avg vol`	2.5	A 1-minute bar with at least this multiple of average intrabar volume is a large chunk; twice this is drawn as a filled bubble. Also used by FlowBook X (BigTrade) and the setup score.
`EXH exhaustion`	Off	`EXH` labels.
`LQ Liquidity sweeps`	Off	`LQ` markers.
`SFP swing failure`	Off	`SFP` labels.
`TK± Ichimoku crosses`	Off	`TK+`/`TK−` labels.

The field next to Δ Delta marker (D~) is titled min |Z| (default 2.1). It is a second display threshold for D~ (the higher of it and D~ display minimum absolute Z wins) and it is also the delta threshold FlowBook X uses.

15: MTF Dashboard

Setting	Default	What it does
`TF 1`	15	First MTF timeframe.
`TF 2`	60	Second MTF timeframe.
`TF 3`	240	Third MTF timeframe.
`TF 4`	D	Fourth MTF timeframe.
`Use MTF alignment in score`	On	Lets MTF alignment add to the setup score.

16: Premium / Discount Zones

Setting	Default	What it does
`Use PD location in score (long in discount, short in premium)`	On	Lets premium/discount add to or subtract from the setup score.
`Detect EQH / EQL liquidity pools`	On	Draws `EQH` and `EQL`.
`Equal H/L tolerance (ATR)`	0.15	How close two swings must be to count as equal.
`Show breaker blocks (failed OBs)`	On	Tracks breaker blocks.
`Draw breaker boxes on chart`	Off	Draws `BRK+` and `BRK−` boxes.

17: Sessions / Killzones

Setting	Default	What it does
`Show killzone boxes`	Off	Boxes over the session windows.
`Session H/L lines until swept`	On	Session high and low lines until price trades through.
`Timezone`	America/New_York	Time zone of the windows below.
`Asia` and its time field	Off, 2000-0000	Asia window.
`London` and its time field	On, 0200-0500	London window.
`New York` and its time field	On, 0700-1000	New York window.

FB RD/HD: Core

Setting	Default	What it does
`Detection profile`	Universal auto	Sensitivity of the R/H divergence engine. Options: Universal auto, Intraday clean, 4H Gold clean, Intraday balanced, Original-like, Strict.
`Mark timing`	Instant on close	When a divergence is decided: Instant live, Instant on close, Confirmed +2.
`Instant: require oscillator turn`	On	Needs the oscillator to turn for instant divergences.
`Show white R markers`	Off	Draws regular divergence triangles.
`Show green H markers`	Off	Draws hidden divergence triangles.
`Draw divergence lines`	On	Draws a line for each visible R or H marker.

FLOWBOOK X: Confluence context

Setting	Default	What it does
`Enable FLOWBOOK X`	On	Runs and draws FlowBook X.
`RD/HD events counted`	R + H	Which divergence types count.
`Profile scope`	Any D/W/M	Which period's VWAP and value area count.
`VWAP`	On	VWAP touches count.
`VAH for Short`	On	VAH touches count on the short side.
`VAL for Long`	On	VAL touches count on the long side.
`Level-touch tolerance (ATR)`	0.16	How close counts as a touch.
`CVD divergence`	On	Counts `CVD~` divergence as flow.
`BigTrade`	On	Counts large-chunk imbalance as flow.
`Delta`	On	Counts delta events as flow.
`Minimum aligned flow events`	1	1 = any, 2 = at least two, 3 = all three.
`Order-flow synchronization window (bars)`	0	Bars a flow event stays valid. 0 = same bar.
`Confirm FLOWBOOK X on candle close`	Off	Fixes the marker at the bar close.
`Same-side FLOWBOOK X spacing (bars)`	1	Minimum bars between markers on one side.
`Restrict FLOWBOOK X to XAU/GC 5-minute`	Off	Limits FlowBook X to XAUUSD/GC 5-minute charts.
`Dynamic FLOWBOOK X alert() messages`	Off	Sends FlowBook X alerts (the master alert switch must be on).

OL1 · Origin levels / sweep

Setting	Default	What it does
`Enable origin-TF liquidity layer`	On	Runs the 15-minute liquidity layer on 1- to 5-minute charts.
`Tick unit (price)`	0.10	Price step for takes and sweeps. Keep 0.10 for gold futures and gold CFDs.
`Draw marks in the last N bars`	2000	Drawing window of the layer.
`15m levels: m`	On	Draws minor levels.
`L2`	On	Draws L2 levels.
`MAJ`	On	Draws major levels.
`Taken marks (x hh:mm UTC)`	On	Shows take marks.
`Sweep marks (SWP B / S)`	On	Shows sweep marks.
`Include 1m-pivot sweeps in the marks`	Off	Adds sweeps of chart-timeframe swings (class `1m`).

OL2 · LQ-S* / LQ-B*

Setting	Default	What it does
`Show LQ-S* / LQ-B*`	On	Draws the labels.
`Also show LQ-S / LQ-B without *`	Off	Adds faded labels when structure does not agree.
`Big volume: bar volume ≥ k × average`	2.0	Volume multiple the sweep (or next) bar needs.
`Big volume: average length (bars)`	60	Bars in the volume average.
`Next bar may confirm (mark one bar later)`	On	The next bar may supply the volume; the label then appears one bar later.
`alert(): LQ-S* / LQ-B*`	On	Includes these labels in liquidity-layer alerts.

OL3 · Origin chain (8 steps)

Setting	Default	What it does
`Run the origin chain`	On	Runs the chain and draws its labels.
`1 · minimum 15m level class`	m	Lowest level class that starts a chain (m, L2, MAJ).
`3 · momentum within N closed 5m candles`	3	Time allowed for the momentum candle.
`3 · body / range ≥`	0.55	Body share of the momentum candle.
`range ≥ × ATR(5m)`	0.8	Range of the momentum candle in 5-minute ATR.
`5 · mitigation level (share of impulse)`	0.5	Pullback depth for `5·MIT`.
`6 · induction horizon (minutes)`	240	Time limit for the `IND` state.
`7 · accept candle body / range ≥`	0.5	Body share of the acceptance candle.
`8 · bias lock (minutes)`	240	How long opposite-side takes are ignored after momentum.
`alert(): chain momentum / accept`	On	Includes `3·MOM` and `7·ACC` in liquidity-layer alerts.
